Founded in September 2000, the Chicago Engineering Design Team is a student organization from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Each year the team enrolls in college-level competitions, which require a diverse set of engineering backgrounds including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science.
We focus on hands-on learning, NASA System Engineering, SUAS Based Autonomous Drones, and Combat Robotics. Our mission is to foster a learning environment for all, and help students in lower-income areas get access to STEM education.
